Recent wins for the Buildings Division


Grover Cleveland Charter High School Modernization

DHS was selected to provide Owner Representation Services for one of the biggest Comprehensive Modernization Projects undertaken by the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Grover Cleveland Charter High School comprehensive modernization project includes the demolition of buildings for food service/multipurpose room/lunch shelter and Maintenance & Operations, 3 classrooms buildings, and relocatable modular buildings housing approximately 48 classrooms. The project includes the construction of approximately 57 new general and specialty classrooms with support spaces, new food services multipurpose room and a new on-site Maintenance & Operations area. Classroom buildings #4 & #5 will be modernized to reconfigure science classrooms into standard classrooms and the physical education building will be seismically retrofitted. Additionally, upgrades to site wide infrastructure including sanitary sewer, water and electrical utilities, as well as improvements to programmatic access, landscaping/hardscaping and exterior paint. Project Budget is approximately $165M.

Westfield Topanga Canyon Center

DHS was selected to provide Owner Representation Services for a major redevelopment of one of the biggest shopping centers/malls at Unibail-Roadmco-Westfield’s Topanga Canyon Center. The project cost is approximately $51M. The DHS team provides PM/CM support services for the entire lifecycle of the project from design, procurement, construction and occupancy.


Los Angeles World Airports

DHS was selected to provide Risk Mitigation/Claims Avoidance Services by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) for Airside projects. DHS staff works on-site supporting LAWA’s field staff in reviewing and addressing potential cost and schedule issues.
